Arbuckle Mountains (some of us called it Box Hill)
The next day of our trip, we visited Turner Falls and the Old Castle there.
"Based on old English architecture, the castle was constructed with native stone and materials in the early '30s by Dr. Ellsworth Collins. He was a professor at Oklahoma University. The buildings served as 'the Bar Ranch' headquarters and for Dr. Collins summer home"

Some of us looking at the stream running from the falls. We got to walk through a shallow part in the icy cold water. It felt so good after walking around on a sunny afternoon!
The castle was nestled and spread among the hills, making it lots of fun to explore.
No, we didn't lock him in there. We were reminded of certain dwarfs in a similar plight. :)

The winding stairs were threaded everywhere. It made it more adventurous for the kids!
Next we came to the falls.
